How TCM can help

Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) considers infertility to be the result of an imbalance in the body. According to TCM philosophy, disease results from an imbalance that blocks the flow of Qi, the “vital energy” which regulates health and flows around the body. If the flow of Qi becomes blocked, the body fails to maintain harmony, balance and order, resulting in health problems.

Based on centuries of clinical experience, TCM has developed practical and effective treatments for infertility. These treatments treat fertility problems naturally and safely, by restoring balance to the body and ensuring that the reproductive organs are in good health.

Note

A study entitled ‘Efficacy of Traditional Chinese Herbal Medicine in the management of female infertility: a systematic review’ conducted in 2011 by the School of Population Health & Clinical Practice, at the University of Adelaide, South Australia and funded by the Australian Government, suggested that: ‘management of female infertility with Chinese Herbal Medicine can improve pregnancy rates 2-fold within a 4 month period compared with Western Medical Fertility drug therapy or IVF. Assessment of the quality of the menstrual cycle, integral to TCM diagnosis appears to be fundamental to successful treatment of female infertility’.

Throughout my life, I have always found exams of any kind extremely stressful. Recently, when I was training to be an aerobics instructor, the thought of the practical examination filled me with dread. I had several acupuncture treatments in the run up to my exam to relieve anxiety and reduce stress. The acupuncture, herbal medicine, breathing exercises and reflexology massages made a huge difference. Although I did still suffer some nerves on the day of the exam, the overall effect was that the stress reduced significantly and I passed the exam. I cannot thank GinSen enough, they taught me to control my nerves, and without them, I am not sure I would have made it through my exam quite so easily
